All sales are final so please understand this commitment prior to placing an order 🖤

Please know that I take a lot of pride in customer service and the quality and craftsmanship of the pieces I send out into the world and I truly aim to please.  In all the orders and packages I have shipped over the years, I have never had one return request!  And that is something to be proud of!  I've had pieces from The Bench Shop arrive damaged, and I immediately got with the customer to fix it.  I am a small handmade business, as well as a one-woman-show, so please know that I am here to help and figure out a common sense solution to any issues that might arise.

Damages and Issues
Once your piece has been delivered or picked up, you take ownership of that piece.  At that point, you assume full responsibility for any damage that may occur so please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can work together and make it right!  I very much aim to please.  

Returns and Refunds
I do not take returns and will not issue refunds for custom furniture, Cow Ponies, benches, vanity benches, or step stools, so please understand this commitment prior to placing an order.  If there is a question about the piece's structural integrity, I will absolutely work with you to find a solution that works for both of us.

Care and Usage
I use various fabrics, textiles, and natural hair-on-hides to create the distinct design and style of the various pieces I create, and while they are absolutely meant to be used as functional pieces of art, they should still be handled with a level of care and mindful respect.  If mistreated, they can show signs of wear and tear over time.  It must be understood that natural hides, both cowhide and exotic, are products of nature, and therefore variations including but not limited to color, texture, hair length, pattern, brands, and patches may be present and all add to its unique natural character and should not be considered flaws.

Liability and Warranty 
Once your piece has been delivered to you, you take ownership of that piece.  At that point, you assume full responsibility for any damage that may occur.  Desert Canary Design is not responsible for any wear and tear or hair loss that may occur after you have accepted the cowhide product while in good condition.
